Location: Bishop Auckland, DL13
Pay: £538.55 - £575.00 per week
Hours: Monday - Friday Full-time / Part-time
Start Date: After Easter

About the Role

Milk Education is looking for a motivated and caring Early Years Teaching Assistant to join the Early Years department in a primary school in Bishop Auckland. This is a fantastic opportunity for both new and experienced TAs to support young children in their learning journey in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities: Teaching Assistant
  • Support children in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS), including those with SEND
  • Assist teachers in delivering engaging Early Years activities and lessons
  • Help maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Prepare resources and support classroom routines
  • Support behaviour management and pupil engagement
Essential Requirements
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ, or equivalent)
  • Experience working with young children in a school or nursery setting
  • Ability to support children with additional learning needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Reliable, adaptable, and passionate about helping young children learn
