Location: Leeds, West Yorkshire
Salary: From £38,000 per annum + overtime (potential earnings up to £60,000)
Bonus: 10% sign-on bonus + company-wide bonus scheme
Shifts: Day and night shifts available with shift premiums

The Opportunity
We are recruiting experienced CNC Millers to join a modern precision engineering facility manufacturing complex, high-specification components used across advanced engineering sectors.
You will be working with multi-axis CNC machines in a quality-driven environment offering excellent earning potential, modern equipment and long-term career opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Set and operate CNC milling machines (3 axis and/or 5 axis)
- Prepare machines including tooling, fixtures, offsets and probes
- Load and edit CNC programs using CAM software or G-code
- Perform first-off inspection and in-process checks
- Machine precision components to tight tolerances
- Interpret engineering drawings and GD&T requirements
- Select appropriate tooling and machining strategies
- Monitor tool wear and maintain dimensional accuracy
- Troubleshoot machining or programming issues
- Support continuous improvement and cycle time optimisation
- Maintain accurate production and inspection records
- Follow quality standards including ISO9001 / AS9100 environments
Candidate Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a CNC Miller
- Experience with 3 axis and/or 5 axis machining centres
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
- Experience with CAM software or G-code editing
- Experience machining materials such as stainless steel, aluminium or titanium
- Strong understanding of precision measurement equipment
- High attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently and within a team
