Key Responsibilities Programming, setting and operating Sliding Head CNC lathes Machine setup including tooling, fixtures, guide bushes and offsets Editing and optimising CNC programs (G-code and/or CAM) Producing high precision components to tight tolerances First-off inspection and in-process quality checks Reading and interpreting engineering drawings including GD&T Troubleshooting machining issues and improving cycle efficiency Maintaining quality standards within ISO regulated environments Ensuring components meet dimensional and surface finish specifications Working with materials including stainless steel, titanium and aluminium Candidate Requirements Proven experience as a CNC Sliding Head Turner Experience working with machines such as Citizen, Star, Tornos or simila r Strong understanding of precision machining principles Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings Experience working to tight tolerances Strong attention to detail and quality standards Ability to work independently and as part of a skilled team Why Apply?
