Registered Nurse / Registered Mental Nurse (RMN)

Right Search are currently recruiting on behalf of a Nursing Home in Walsall. The home specialises in high standards of EMI Nursing and General Nursing care.

The Manager is looking for a Registered Mental Nurse (RMN) to join the team on nights on a 25 bed EMI Unit; 36 hour contract available.

As a Staff Nurse you would be required to maintain the highest possible standard of care in a professional manner through direct nursing and effective supervision of Staff Members.

Responsibilities include:

• Assessing and planning nursing care requirements.
• Providing pre- and post-operation care.
• Monitoring and administering medication and intravenous infusions.
• Taking patient samples, pulses, temperatures and blood pressures.
• Writing records.
• Supervising junior staff.
• Organising workloads.
• Providing emotional support to patients and relatives.
• Ensuring effective communication between day and night shifts
• Attending MDT meetings.

• Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
• Someone who is passionate about person centered care
• Good leadership skills
