Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Job type: Temporary to Permanent
Location: Letchworth Garden City
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9.30am - 6.00pm
Annual Salary: £35,000 per annum
Our ever-growing client based in Letchworth Garden City are currently looking for a highly-established Warehouse Manager to join their team on a Temp to Perm basis. The successful candidate must be a hands-on individual, who will be expecting to ensure a smooth day-to-day running if their busy Warehouse & Logistics operations.
Main duties of a Warehouse Manager:
- Manage shopfloor operations within the Warehouse, ensuring the Warehouse team are compliant with Health & Safety regulations and standard operating procedures
- Delivering training, guidance, and support to the team to enable them to work effectively
- Hands on duties such as loading/unloading deliveries (by hand or FLT), checking for damaged/missing items, and supporting the team with the organisation of transfers/loading goods
- Supporting the Goods In team & Stock Controller by keeping record of the stock within the WMS, applying excellent attention to detail
- To track shipments and POD's when required
What's needed as a Warehouse Manager:
- Experience in managing Warehouse operations
- Forklift/Flexi Truck experience
- Strong communication and team playing skills
- Experience within the use of Warehouse Management Systems
- Ability to problem solve and propose solutions to issues that may occur
