Title: Mobile Chemist
Location: East Midlands OR North West
Salary: 30,000- 35,000 per annum (depending on experience)

SRG are working with a leading waste management and recycling company who have a long and very successful history of supporting the UK chemical industry. They are now looking for a 4 Mobile Chemists to join their team. This role would suite candidates with 1+ years of experience as a chemist in the chemicals industry. Must be able to drive and have a full and clean UK Lisence
Hours: 40 hours a week Monday - Friday

Role / Description
- Provide technical support and work with customers to determine the best methods of packaging, transporting and processing chemical wastes
- Provide safe recommendations and consult with customers on improving recycling, storage and segregation of their chemical waste products
- Gather detailed information to facilitate the compliant removal of waste in line with environmental regulations
- Carry out site-based risk assessments and operate in line with strict Health & Safety standards
- Perform liquid pumping services, transferring waste from damaged or unsuitable containers to appropriate ones, ensuring safe removal from site and customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Minimum HNC/HND/BSC level qualification in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering or degree with a high chemistry content
- Industrial experience gained in the chemicals industry doing wet chemistry / analytical testing
- Full clean driving licence
- Full right to work in the UK - There is no sponsorship available for this role
