Commercial Manager required for one of the UK's most established Civils and Construction businesses within the Energy sector on a freelance basis.
Job Role
As a Commercial Manager, you will take responsibility for overseeing the commercial performance of projects across multiple sites in South Wales, with Caldicot as your main base. This is a hands-on role requiring a balance of strategic oversight and day-to-day commercial management.
You will:
Manage and oversee all commercial aspects of projects
Provide cost control, forecasting, and reporting
Lead on contract administration and risk management
Work closely with project teams across various sites
Support procurement strategies and subcontractor management
Ensure compliance with contractual and financial processes
This is a hybrid position, with a mix of site visits and remote working depending on project needs.

Requirements
Proven experience in a Commercial Manager or Senior Commercial role
Strong understanding of contract management and cost control
Experience working across multiple sites/projects
Ability to manage stakeholder relationships effectively
Knowledge of relevant contract forms and commercial practices
Willingness to travel across South Wales as required
