We are looking for an experienced Harvest / Machinery Service Support Technician to join a well established and growing agricultural dealership in the South of England. This hands on, technically focused role combines workshop duties with on site support, helping keep a wide range of harvesting, grassland and application machinery operating at peak performance, especially during busy seasonal periods. You will work in a fast paced, customer focused environment and have the chance to work with advanced machinery.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and repair a variety of agricultural machinery
- Diagnose faults across mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems
- Support customers with technical issues both on site and remotely
- Prepare machinery ahead of the season and respond to in season breakdowns
- Work closely with the service team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards
- Accurately complete service reports and documentation
- Attend manufacturer training to develop product knowledge and technical skills
Candidate
- Previous experience working with agricultural, plant or similar machinery
- Strong fault finding and diagnostic ability
- Good understanding of mechanical and hydraulic systems
- Self motivated with the ability to work independently
- Team player with a professional and customer focused approach
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
- Experience with harvesting or application equipment (advantageous)

Candidate Requirements All applicants must hold a minimum of an NVQ Level 2, Scottish NVQ Level 2, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role. Candidates must also have the legal right to work in the UK or hold a valid visa permitting employment.
