Location: Wirral
Pay: 95 - 120 per day (depending on experience)

Are you experienced in sports coaching, youth work or mentoring and looking to take your skills into a school setting?

Empowering Learning are recruiting SEND Support Assistants to work across a number of schools in the Wirral, supporting pupils with additional needs and behavioural challenges. This is a rewarding role where your ability to engage, motivate and build trust will have a direct impact on young people's development.

• Delivering targeted support on a 1:1 basis or within small groups
• Supporting pupils with SEMH, autism and ADHD
• Encouraging positive behaviour and helping pupils stay on task
• Using active and practical approaches to support learning
• Working closely with teachers and SEN staff to implement support plans

• Candidates from a sports, coaching, youth work or mentoring background
• Individuals with experience supporting challenging behaviour or SEND needs
• Confident, resilient and able to build strong relationships quickly
• Positive role models who can inspire and motivate pupils
• Those considering a long-term career in education or SEN support

• 95 - 120 per day, competitive within the local market
