KS1/ KS2 PPA SEND Cover Teacher

We are recruiting for aPrimary Teacherfor a Primary School inSuttonto work on a temporary, long-term basis!

The KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is tostart immediatelyand will be an ongoing role until July 2026.This KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher role is working 5 x full days per week Monday to Friday, 08:30am- 16:00pm.

The role of a KS1/ KS2 PPA Cover Teacher is to work across all year groups covering PPA as and when required to do so. You will be given a timetable to follow each week and you will work closely with the class Teachers and Support Staff whilst undertaking PPA.

• Teaching the children in class, ensuring they complete their work
• Guiding children through the curriculum and marking work
• Managing behaviour
• Upholding the school's behaviour and safeguarding policies
• Planning and delivering engaging lessons

• You must have relevant experience teaching pupils
• Hold QTS
• Knowledge of the national curriculum
• Be passionate and understanding
• Have confidence in managing classes of pupils
• Excellent organisational skills to keep on top of marking and lesson planning
• Good communication skills
