About the Role

We are looking for Residential Support Workers to join a 3-bedded children's home in Erdington, supporting young people with Emotional & Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).

This is a rewarding opportunity where you will make a real difference by helping young people feel safe, supported, and empowered to reach their potential.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Supporting young people with daily routines and activities
  • Building positive and trusting relationships
  • Always promoting safeguarding and wellbeing
  • Supporting behaviour management and emotional development
  • Encouraging independence and life skills
  • Taking part in fun activities, outings, and education support
  • Completing daily logs and reports

You'll play a key role in ensuring a safe and nurturing home environment, where young people can thrive.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with children or young people
  • Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins
  • A genuine passion for supporting young people

Desirable:

  • Level 3 in Children & Young People / Residential Childcare
  • Experience in EBD or residential care
  • Full UK driving licence
