Key Stage 1 Teacher - Bradford
Start Date: ASAP
Contract: Long-term / Temp to Perm
Location: Bradford (happy to travel)
We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teacher for a long-term role starting in April within the Bradford area. This is a full time position, suitable for Experienced Teachers or Early Career Teachers (ECTs) who are flexible and happy to travel.
The Role:Deliver engaging and creative lessons aligned with Key Stage 1 curriculum
Support pupils in developing early literacy, phonics, numeracy, and foundational learning skills
Plan and deliver differentiated lessons to meet the needs of all learners
Create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that supports pupils' confidence and wellbeing
Use effective phonics and early reading strategies to support language development
Work collaboratively with teaching assistants and the wider school team
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to support learning and development
Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and school staff
Essential Requirements:Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Recent experience teaching within Key Stage 1
Knowledge of phonics and early reading strategies (e.g. Read Write Inc, Phonics screening preparation)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
A creative, flexible, and enthusiastic approach to teaching
Experience planning and delivering engaging, age appropriate lessons
Ability to work effectively as part of a team
