Description
- Manage and oversee all financial reporting and month end activities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
- Assist in preparing budgets, forecasts, and financial statements for review by senior management.
- Monitor cash flow and implement strategies to optimise financial performance.
- Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve departmental goals.
- Collaborate with other departments to support business planning and decision-making processes.
- Identify areas for cost-saving and efficiency improvements within the organisation.
- Manage relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller should have:
- A professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or Qualified by Experience
- Proven experience in financial management within the industrial/manufacturing industry.
