What the role involves

In this pivotal role, you'll manage a high-value, multi-track caseload from first interview through to successful resolution. Your days will be filled with meaningful, challenging work where every decision has real impact. You will:

  • Lead and progress complex clinical negligence claims with skill, empathy, and strategic judgment
  • Comply fully with pre-action protocol and court timetables
  • Instruct and collaborate with medical experts and counsel across litigation, ADR, and advocacy
  • Conduct negotiations, attend mediations, and drive settlement outcomes
  • Handle interim applications and play a key role in income forecasting
  • Ensure accurate, timely billing with support from our expert costs team
  • Work independently while contributing to a collaborative, high-performing team
