Quality Engineer

Role: Quality EngineerLocation: WellingboroughSalary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum We're recruiting a Quality Engineer for a well-established precision engineering business in Wellingborough. a company that machines components for the automotive, aerospace and medical sectors. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes real pride in quality and wants to make a genuine impact in a close-knit, high-performing team.What you'll be doing:

• First article and in-process inspection on precision machined components
• CMM operation (PC-DMIS / Calypso) and customer inspection reporting
• NCR management - root cause analysis (8D / 5-Why) and CAPA
• Maintaining the QMS to ISO 9001:2015 standard
• Internal audits, supplier quality, and customer quality liaison

What you'll need:

• Quality experience in a precision / CNC machining environment
• Confident with CMM, engineering drawings and GD&T
• Hands-on with NCR, CAPA, FMEA and control plans
• ISO 9001:2015 knowledge (AS9100 / IATF 16949 a bonus)
