A charming and highly regarded gastro pub near Mildenhall is looking for a talented Chef de Partie to join its busy kitchen team. Serving a mix of traditional and modern dishes, the pub offers an à la carte menu alongside daily specials, with around 100 covers across lunch and dinner.

This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate chef with experience in a fresh-food environment who is keen to develop their career in a quality-led kitchen.

The Role:

  • Salary: £32,000 + great tips
  • 4 days on, 3 days off
  • 46 hours per week
  • Run your own section and maintain high standards
  • Prepare fresh, seasonal dishes for the à la carte menu and specials
  • Support and mentor junior chefs
  • Work closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef

Requirements:

  • Previous Chef de Partie experience in a fresh-food kitchen
  • Passion for quality ingredients and excellent presentation
  • Calm under pressure, organised, and a strong team player
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport essential due to village location
