We're looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer based in Preston. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong mechanical skills who enjoys problem-solving, keeping operations running smoothly, and being part of a supportive maintenance team.

• Carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on a range of mechanical systems and equipment

• Diagnosing and resolving breakdowns efficiently to minimise downtime

• Ensuring health, safety and compliance standards are met at all times

• Participating in a 1-in-2 call out rota, paid at £100 a week

• Mechancial backgroud

• Steam Boiler experiecne is essential

• Strong knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics and general plant maintenance

• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

• A proactive, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills

• Salary: £42,000 - £44,000 DOE

• 1 in 2 call out rota with additional payment
