SEN Teaching Assistant (1:1) - Monmouthshire
Full-time & Part-time Term Time Only£463-£480 per week
Primary and specialist provisions across Monmouthshire are seeking a caring and committed Learning Support Assistant to provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional learning needs.
You'll work in supportive school settings where inclusion and wellbeing are central, helping pupils access learning, build confidence, and engage positively in school life.
Each day offers variety, rewarding experiences, and the chance to make a positive impact on a child's learning and development.
Key duties:
- Provide 1:1 support in lessons and activities
- Adapt learning to individual needs
- Support emotional wellbeing and behaviour
- Encourage independence and confidence
- Work with teachers and ALN coordinators
About you:
- Patient, calm, and reliable
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in education helpful but not essential
- Enhanced DBS (or willing to apply)
- EWC registration required
