SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD/ADHD) - TorfaenFull-time & Part-time Term Time Only £463-£480 per week
Friendly and welcoming primary schools across Torfaen are looking for a caring SEN Teaching Assistant to support pupils with Autism (ASD) and ADHD. You'll play a key role in creating a positive, structured environment where children feel understood, supported, and ready to learn.
Key duties:
- Providing structured 1:1 support with clear routines
- Supporting focus, transitions, and sensory needs
- Using visual aids and tailored strategies
- Encouraging positive behaviour and social skills
The ideal candidate: Patient, consistent, and adaptable Understanding of ASD/ADHD needs (experience desirable) Strong communicator and team player Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
