CCTV / Drainage Investigations Team Leader
Purpose and Scope of the Role
Our client is seeking an experienced CCTV / Drainage Investigations Team Leader to oversee and support a three-person CCTV team delivering drainage surveys across the North West.
In this role, you will combine hands-on technical delivery with leadership responsibilities, ensuring surveys are completed safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. You will operate specialist CCTV equipment, review outputs, and take responsibility for the quality and accuracy of survey data and reporting.
This is a field-based, customer-facing position requiring strong technical expertise, team coordination, and a proactive approach to problem solving. You will work outdoors in all weather conditions and play a key role in delivering high-quality investigations across public sewer and domestic drainage systems.
Your Impact in this Position
In the short term, you will establish team standards, ensure consistent delivery of survey outputs, and support the development of a newly formed team.
Over time, you will strengthen operational efficiency, mentor team members, and build strong working relationships with stakeholders. You will also play a key role in driving quality, safety, and continuous improvement across projects.
Longer term, this role offers a clear pathway into senior supervisory or management positions, with opportunities to contribute to larger infrastructure projects and influence wider operational delivery.
