The Role

As Head of Physics, you will lead the Physics provision and play a key role within the wider Science department.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading and managing the Physics department
• Delivering and developing an engaging and rigorous Physics curriculum
• Raising attainment and progress across Key Stages 3-5
• Supporting and developing teaching staff within the department
• Monitoring performance and ensuring high-quality teaching and learning
• Promoting a passion for Physics and STEM across the school

What we're looking for

• A qualified teacher with strong subject knowledge in Physics
• Proven experience teaching Physics at secondary level
• Leadership experience or readiness to step into a leadership role
• A track record of strong student outcomes
• Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skills
• A passion for inspiring students in science
• Located within or able to travel to West London
