Pay Rate: £14.78 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with start times between 07:00 - 09:00.
Shifts typically last 8-10 hours per day.
Job Description:
We are currently recruiting for a dependable HGV Class 2 Driver to join our operation in Normanton, West Yorkshire. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity, offering a permanent role after a successful 12-week period.
The role involves completing bulk collections of various items from multiple locations and returning them to the depot for redistribution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out bulk collections efficiently and safely
- Load and unload goods where required
- Return collected items to the depot for redistribution
- Complete all relevant paperwork accurately
- Conduct daily vehicle checks and report any defects
- Maintain high standards of safety and professionalism at all times
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph (Digi) Card
- No more than 6 penalty points (no IN, DD, or DR endorsements)
- Good understanding of UK driving laws and regulations
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
