Hours: Monday - Friday Full-time / Part-time

About the Role

Milk Education is seeking a motivated, caring, and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Stockton-on-Tees. This role is ideal for both newly qualified and experienced Teaching Assistants looking to support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) in a nurturing and inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support children within EYFS including SEND and additional learning needs
  • Assist in delivering engaging, creative, and structured learning activities
  • Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
  • Prepare classroom resources and support daily routines
  • Support behaviour management and pupil engagement
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and wider school staff
Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience
  • CACHE Level 2 or Level 3 NVQ or equivalent qualification
  • Experience in EYFS nursery or primary school settings
  • Knowledge of SEND support and inclusive education
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
  • Reliable adaptable and proactive approach
  • Passion for child development and early years education
