Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Personal Injury Fee Earner to join a busy Fast Track / Multi-Track team, managing a predominantly Fast Track caseload of EL/PL and RTA matters, with some exposure to Multi-Track files.
This is a litigation focused role within a largely fixed fee environment, requiring a confident and commercially aware litigator who is comfortable handling files independently from inception through to conclusion, including issued proceedings.
The successful candidate will be proactive in progressing cases, ensuring strong client outcomes while maintaining a focus on efficiency, compliance, and financial performance.
A strong emphasis is placed on client care, with clear communication, empathy, and professionalism expected throughout the lifecycle of each case.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a caseload of approximately 70 files, primarily Fast Track EL/PL and RTA claims, with some Multi-Track matters
- Progress cases through pre- and post-litigation stages, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, and instructions to counsel
- Conduct litigated matters in accordance with CPR and procedural requirements
- Maintain accurate case management records and ensure timely progression of files
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurers, medical experts, counsel, and third parties
- Identify opportunities to maximise settlement outcomes and recoverable costs
- Build and maintain strong relationships with medical experts and other stakeholders
- Work collaboratively within the team and contribute to case strategy discussions
Essential:
- Proven experience handling claimant Personal Injury matters independently
- Experience managing a fixed-fee caseload efficiently and effectively
- Experience handling Fast Track litigation (EL/PL and RTA)
- Multi-Track exposure desirable
- Practising rights (or ability to obtain within a reasonable timeframe)
- Strong working knowledge of CPR and litigation process
