Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Donations & Data Administrator to support the accurate processing and management of donations. This role plays a key part in ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining donor records and supporting fundraising activities.

Salary and Benefits

Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum (DOE)

Benefits include:

  • Hybrid working available after 6 months (2 days from home)
  • Flexible working hours after training period

Working Hours:

  • 37.5 hours per week
  • 9:00am - 5:00pm during initial training (first 3 months)
  • Flexible between 8:00am - 5:00pm thereafter

Overview of the Role

In this role, you will be responsible for processing donations from a variety of channels, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in line with procedures. You will maintain donor databases, reconcile reports, and support financial processes including Gift Aid and compliance requirements.

You will also provide a high level of customer service to donors and stakeholders, acting as a professional first point of contact and supporting fundraising activities such as events and third-party initiatives. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and support the wider team in delivering an excellent donor experience.

About you

We are looking for a highly organised individual with strong attention to detail, numerate, and a high level of accuracy. You should have experience in administration and data handling, with confidence using databases and Excel.

Strong communication skills are essential, along with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines. You should be comfortable handling sensitive financial information and maintaining confidentiality.

A proactive approach, willingness to support team activities, and an interest in improving processes will be key to success in this role.
