Your Role as Head of Maths

  • Lead and manage the Maths department across KS3, KS4, and KS5

  • Drive outstanding teaching and learning, ensuring consistently high standards

  • Develop and implement a challenging, engaging, and progressive curriculum

  • Analyse data to inform interventions and maximise student outcomes

  • Mentor and develop teachers, including ECTs and aspiring leaders

  • Contribute to whole-school strategy as a key middle/senior leader

  • Promote a culture of academic excellence, resilience, and high expectations

  • Strong organisational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
