Repairs Scheduler

Location - Swadlincote

Hourly rate - 14.00 - 17.76 per hour (Depending on payment type)

Temporary position that could lead to a permanent position

Sellick Partnership are supporting a housing association with the recruitment of a Repairs Scheduler to support the Senior Administrator Supervisor in ensuring the team offer key support to the Compliance, Housing Management, and Operational Delivery teams.

Job Summary

To support the Senior Administrator Supervisor in ensuring the team offer key support to the Compliance, Housing Management, and Operational Delivery teams.

To ensure jobs are raised and closed accurately for the direct labour organisation (DLO) day-to-day repairs and contractors in line with policies and contracts.

To support the Compliance, Tenancy Management, and Operational Delivery teams with administrative tasks.

Main Duties and Responsibilities for the Repairs Scheduler

  • Respond to Customer queries via telephone, e mail, website or from other departments as required.

  • Using MRI software systems, raise orders for planned and reactive maintenance work to the housing stock and associated buildings.

  • Ensure all jobs assigned correctly to contractors or DLO as appropriate, in line with the Repairs Policy and within SLA's.

  • Review any jobs from all booking pots to ensure accurate information recorded with regards to trade allocated to jobs, time allocated to job and Schedule of rate codes

Service Specific

This role will primarily focus on coordinating and administering damp and mould repairs. While the standard administrative responsibilities apply, this position plays a critical role in supporting compliance with Awaab's Law.

The successful candidate will take ownership of scheduling and tracking damp and mould cases, working closely with tenants, inspectors, and contractors to ensure timely and effective resolution. Strong communication skills are essential, as is the ability to manage sensitive situations with professionalism and efficiency.
