The Firm
A highly regarded and award-winning London law firm is seeking an experienced Legal Assistant to join its Property Department on a full-time basis in their Whitechapel office.

The Opportunity
The successful Legal Assistant will support a busy Property Department, working closely with fee earners on a range of residential conveyancing matters. This is a fast-paced and varied role requiring strong organisational ability and attention to detail. Duties will include:

  • Assisting with the preparation of legal documents relating to conveyancing transactions
  • Supporting fee earners across all stages of residential conveyancing matters
  • Liaising with clients, solicitors, and third parties
  • Handling post-exchange work and preparing files for completion
  • Ensuring files are accurately maintained and up to date
  • Assisting with deadlines and transactional workflows

This Legal Assistant opportunity is a full time, permanent role, working Monday - Friday, 9:30am - 5:30pm

The Requirements

  • At least 2 years experience as a Legal Assistant or Paralegal within residential conveyancing
  • Commercial property experience desirable but not essential
