What you'll be doing
As Deputy Director - Capability at UK Parliament, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Parliamentary Security Department is prepared, resilient and equipped to meet current and emerging security challenges. You'll provide strategic leadership across physical security, threat and risk assessment, contingency planning, workforce and professional capability. Working closely with senior stakeholders across both Houses and trusted external partners, you'll embed security considerations into wider parliamentary activity, oversee strategic business and financial planning, and champion inclusion, professionalism and development across a high performing, multi disciplinary team and helping to keep Parliament safe and open for business.
This role is offered on a hybrid working basis, with an expectation of you spending 3 days on-site per week.
