Semi Senior / Senior Accountant

We are currently working with a well-established and reputable firm of accountants who are looking to appoint a Semi Senior or Senior Accountant to join their growing team.

This is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive practice environment, working with a varied portfolio of clients across sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

The Role

You will be responsible for a mix of accounts and client work, including:

• Preparation and review of year-end accounts for a portfolio of clients
• Managing your own client portfolio from bookkeeping through to final accounts
• Reviewing work prepared by junior team members and ensuring files are ready for final sign-off
• VAT returns, management accounts, and tax computations
• Personal tax returns for clients within your portfolio
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients and handling queries directly
• Supporting and mentoring junior team members where required
