HR Operations Lead (6-Month FTC - Maternity Cover)
Central London (Hybrid: 2-3 days in office)
£75,000-£80,000 + £3,000 completion bonus
We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Lead to join a dynamic and fast-paced organisation on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is a key leadership role, responsible for delivering a high-performing HR operations function across multiple regions, with a strong focus on international payroll and HR operations, people management, and operational excellence.
The Role
As HR Operations Lead, you will oversee the day-to-day delivery and continuous improvement of HR services across HR Operations, Learning & Development, and HR Systems & Data. You will lead a talented team while driving key HR projects and ensuring a seamless employee experience across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the HR Operations function, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery
- Oversee international payroll processes, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery across multiple countries
- Manage and develop a team across HR Ops, L&D, and HR systems/data
- Drive and deliver HR operational projects, including process improvements and system enhancements
- Ensure HR systems and data are robust, accurate, and support business decision-making
- Partner with senior stakeholders to optimise HR processes and improve employee experience
- Maintain compliance with local and international employment legislation
About You
- Proven experience in a senior HR Operations role within an international environment
- Strong, hands on experience with global/international payroll
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high performing teams
- Experience overseeing HR Operations, L&D, and HR systems/data
- Track record of delivering HR projects and process improvements
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Highly organised, detail oriented, and adaptable in a fast paced environment
