PBS Lead Practitioner Location: Uxbridge Contract: 40 hours per week, Term Time + 5 Staff Training Days + 80 additional hours during school holidays (41 weeks) Salary: £39,000 - £41,765 actual per annum, dependent on experienceWe are seeking an experienced and passionate PBS Lead Practitioner to lead and embed Positive Behaviour Support across a specialist school setting. This is a key leadership role focused on developing a proactive, consistent, ethical, and person-centred approach in line with PBS principles.You will work collaboratively with students, families, staff, and external professionals to promote quality of life, inclusion, attendance, emotional regulation, and positive outcomes. The role is grounded in PBS values, trauma-informed practice, and ethical behaviour support.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the development and evaluation of a whole-school PBS frameworkEnsure consistent practice and reduce reliance on restrictive interventionsAct as the key liaison between the school, families, and external medical/therapeutic professionalsLead multi-disciplinary coordination to ensure a unified approach to student wellbeing
