Costs Draftsperson / Costs Lawyer

A highly reputable firm is seeking an experienced Costs Draftsman or Costs Lawyer to join its specialist costs team. • Prepare Bills of Costs for detailed assessment and manage Precedent H costs budgets.
• Draft Precedent F bills in budgeted matters and handle Precedent T revisions and Precedent R approvals.
• Advise fee earners on costs strategy and recovery, and support negotiations and settlement of costs.
• Demonstrate a strong background in inter partes claimant work, particularly in serious injury and/or clinical negligence.
• Possess solid knowledge of Precedents H, F, T, and R, and the ability to manage files independently and handle complex matters.

• Experienced Costs Draftsman or qualified Costs Lawyer.
• Strong technical ability and commercial awareness.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
