About the Role
A Chambers-ranked, well-established Reading firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation / Dispute Resolution Solicitor (1-3 PQE) to join its expanding team. You will work across a diverse mix of disputes, including:
- Business and commercial contract disputes
- Shareholder and partnership disputes
- Property disputes (commercial & residential)
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor looking to broaden their disputes experience and progress within a highly regarded team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of mixed commercial and property-related disputes
- Handle business contract disputes, shareholder matters, construction claims and property litigation
- Draft pleadings, statements, settlement agreements and client correspondence
- Conduct legal research and prepare clear, commercial legal advice
- Represent clients at negotiations, mediations and court hearings (with supervision where needed)
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to client relationship management
- Support business development activities within the wider team
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with 1-3 years' PQE in commercial litigation or general dispute resolution
- Experience in any of the following (team is flexible):
- Shareholder/partnership disputes
- Strong drafting, analytical and communication skills.
- Commercially minded, organised and confident managing files independently.
- Team player with a proactive and client-focused approach.
Location
Central Reading with flexible hybrid working arrangements.
