Location: Rugby, CV21Pay Rate: £500 - 525 per weekStart Date: ASAPContract: Monday - Friday, long-term temp to perm.Are you a flexible, proactive Behaviour Mentor looking to make a real impact across a primary school setting? Long Term Futures is working with a welcoming and well-led four-form entry junior school in Rugby, rated 'Good' by OFSTED, who are seeking a versatile Behaviour Mentor to support across multiple year groups. This role will involve a combination of whole-class support, small group interventions, and 1:1 support for pupils with additional needs, including those with SEN such as ASD and Challenging Behaviour.Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide flexible support across different year groups as required
  • Assist the class teacher with delivering engaging lessons and adapting activities
  • Work with small groups to deliver targeted interventions in literacy, numeracy, and social development
  • Offer 1:1 support across Key Stage 2 pupils with Autism and Challenging Behaviour
  • Support pupils with focus, emotional regulation, and engagement in learning
  • Help maintain a positive, inclusive, and structured classroom environment
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and support staff to meet individual learning needs
  • Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience working as a Behaviour Mentor in a primary school setting
  • Confidence supporting across different year groups
  • Experience supporting children with SEN (including ASD, ADHD, Behavioural Needs or similar needs)
  • A calm, adaptable, and proactive approach
  • Ability to deliver both small group interventions and 1:1 support
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Supporting Teaching & Learning qualification (or equivalent)
