Talent Finance are working collaboratively with a well-established, multi-site business operating at significant scale, with a highly active distribution network and a complex, high-volume product environment.

This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a role that offers real visibility, variety and commercial exposure, sitting at the centre of how the business understands performance.

The opportunity

You will take ownership of inventory accounting across the core business operations, while also acting as the Finance Business Partner to the wider business, working closely with operational teams and supporting key decisions. It's a role that gives you the chance to develop both your technical expertise and commercial thinking, in a fast-paced, data-rich environment.

What you'll be doing

• Supporting monthly management accounts and Board pack preparation
• Taking ownership of inventory accounting across a complex product base
• Acting as the key Finance contact for the Distribution Centre
• Delivering analysis, KPIs and insight to support operational performance
• Supporting budgeting and forecasting processes
• Working with large data sets to drive accuracy and understanding
• Building strong relationships across finance and operations

Who this would suit

• Part-qualified or fully qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
• Experience in management accounts, FP&A or similar
• Someone who enjoys working with data, detail and the bigger picture
• A proactive, commercially minded approach
• Either an experienced interim or someone looking to step up and develop

The detail

• 12-month fixed term contract (maternity cover)
• £45,000-£50,000 depending on experience
• Immediate start with a planned handover period
