Imports Manager Leigh, WN7 Full time, Permanent Up to £40,000 DOE
Monday to Friday 37.5hr per week
KPI Recruiting are proud to be working with our highly established who are currently looking to recruit an experienced Imports Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.
Job Responsibilities:
- Manage end-to-end import process from PO to delivery
- Coordinate shipments and timelines with international suppliers
- Work with freight forwarders to arrange and track shipments
- Book vessel space in line with business needs
- Handle shipping and import documentation accurately
- Arrange supplier payments
- Coordinate with warehouse for smooth goods receipt
- Monitor shipments and resolve delays proactively
- Ensure compliance with import regulations and procedures
Experience required:
- Proven senior import/shipping experience in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of end-to-end import and international logistics
- Experience managing shipments and working with freight forwarders
- Familiar with shipping documentation and payment terms (LC, D/P)
- Highly organised, able to manage multiple shipments
- Strong communicator with suppliers and internal teams
- Proactive, detail-focused, and works well under pressure
