Pertemps are currently recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Skilled CNC Miller/Programmer to join a busy and fast-paced manufacturing environment in Exhall!
This is a fantastic opportunity for a highly skilled machinist who can programme, set, and operate CNC milling machines, with a strong focus on precision and quality!
Key Responsibilities:- Programming, setting, and operating CNC milling machines
- Offline programming (experience with ONECNC preferred - training can be provided)
- Producing mainly one-off components
- Inspecting and checking own work using measuring equipment (bore micrometers, micrometers, depth mics, etc.)
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Working to tight tolerances with high attention to detail
- Meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Operating predominantly HAAS machinery
- Maintaining excellent health & safety standards at all times
Requirements:- Proven experience in CNC milling (programming, setting, operating)
- Strong understanding of engineering drawings
- High level of accuracy and quality focus
- Ability to work independently and manage workload
Hours of Work:- Monday to Thursday: 6:45am - 4:00pm (30-minute lunch break)
- Overtime available as required
Salary & Benefits:- Salary negotiable depending on experience
- Paid every 4 weeks
- 26 days holiday
