Job Description

Looking for a role where you're genuinely valued, not just "extra hands"?

We're working with a range of friendly, well run mainstream primary schools across Lambeth who are looking for brilliant Teaching Assistants to join them on a long term basis.

Whether you love supporting phonics in KS1 or helping pupils build confidence in KS2, we'll match you with a school that fits your style.

What your day could look like:
  • Supporting the class teacher to keep lessons running smoothly
  • Working 1:1 or with small groups to boost confidence and progress
  • Helping pupils stay focused, engaged and enjoying their learning
  • Supporting children with additional needs where required
  • Being that steady, reliable presence every classroom needs
What schools are looking for:
  • Experience working with children in a school or similar setting
  • A calm, positive approach (someone pupils trust and teachers rely on)
  • Good communication skills and a team player mindset
  • A proactive attitude, happy to get stuck in wherever needed
What's in it for you:
  • Long term roles where you can build real relationships
  • Supportive schools that value their support staff
  • Opportunities across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
  • A chance to grow your experience or step into teaching later on
