A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a junior buyer to join a statement led footwear brand. The brand's concept is catwalk inspired, trend responsive and statement led. Their vision is to always make the shoe a central part of the outfit. They're edgy, contemporary and confident.
Responsibilities
- Manage your own category and trade the department.
- Oversee trend forecasting, product development, fit sessions, fabric sign offs and supplier negotiation.
- Collaborate cross functionally with merchandising, marketing and suppliers to ensure product launches are met.
- Manage a buying admin assistant.
Qualifications
- Experience in footwear is highly desirable.
- Highly creative and excellent at trend forecasting to deliver a commercial range.
- Excellent supplier relationships to improve margins and profit growth for your product area.
- Highly organised with very high attention to detail.
Benefits
Salary of £35,000, employee discount, pension scheme and enhanced maternity leave. This is a hybrid role where you will be expected to work from the office four days a week and one day from home.
