Junior Commercial Property Solicitor (NQ - 2 PQE)
Location: Cardiff (hybrid working available)
Salary: Competitive - dependent on experience
A specialist property law firm in Cardiff are looking to recruit a Junior Commercial Property Solicitor. Candidates of interest will be those who are either Newly Qualified or about to qualify, or anyone with up to 2 years' PQE (although the firm may be prepared to consider candidates with more PQE subject to them having particularly desirable experience).
This is an excellent opportunity for a junior solicitor seeking high-quality work, hands-on responsibility, and a supportive team environment with real scope for development.
The Role
You will work on a broad range of commercial property matters, acting for a diverse client base. The role offers exposure to complex and interesting transactions, with appropriate supervision and mentoring.
Your work will include:
Acquisitions and disposals of all property types
Commercial leases
Business asset purchases and sales
Joint venture agreements
Site acquisition and development advice
Landlord and tenant advice
Leasehold enfranchisement
Option agreements
Overage and clawback agreements
Portfolio management
Property finance
Residential property investment
About You
Newly Qualified - 2 years' PQE with commercial property experience (higher PQE candidates may also apply)
Strong attention to detail with a commercial and pragmatic approach
Excellent communication and organisational skills
Able to work confidently as part of a close-knit team
