Job Description

Elevation Recruitment Group are delighted to be working with a dynamic and growing organisation in Howden as they look to bring in a Group Financial Reporting Manager into the team.

This is a high-profile role within the Group Finance function, offering significant exposure to senior leadership and the chance to make a real impact.

This role will be the instrumental with regards to providing financial reporting across the Group. This position is ideal for an ambitious finance professional looking to step into a visible, influential role within a complex, international environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the preparation and delivery of accurate, high-quality Group consolidated financial statements (monthly and annual), ensuring compliance with FRS 102
  • Act as the technical accounting lead, providing guidance on complex issues and new standards
  • Produce clear, well-reasoned accounting papers to support decision-making
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to ensure strong financial governance across the Group
  • Deputise for the Group Financial Controller when required
  • Support Board reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning
  • Oversee and enhance the external audit process, ensuring timely and high-quality outputs
  • Ensure consistency and compliance with Group accounting policies across international entities
  • Support strategic initiatives such as M&A, restructuring, and cashflow optimisation
  • Drive continuous improvement in financial systems, processes, and reporting
About You
  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
  • Background in practice (audit) with post-qualification experience in a Group finance function
  • Strong technical knowledge of FRS 102 and Group consolidations
  • Experience within a complex, multi-entity environment (desirable)
  • Confident communicator with the ability to influence senior stakeholders
  • Highly organised with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proactive and ambitious, with a drive to make a meaningful impact
