The Role

The firm is seeking a qualified Commercial Property Solicitor to join its property team. The successful candidate will manage a broad range of commercial property matters and work closely with clients to deliver practical and commercially focused legal advice.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising on a range of commercial property transactions, including sales and purchases
• Drafting and negotiating commercial leases (acting for landlords and/or tenants)
• Handling development matters and associated property work
• Managing a varied caseload from instruction through to completion
• Liaising with clients, lenders, agents, and other third parties
• Reviewing and reporting on title and conducting due diligence
• Preparing and advising on legal documentation and transaction structures
• Maintaining accurate case records and ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales
• Proven experience in commercial property law
• Strong technical knowledge across sales, purchases, leases, and development work
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to manage a busy caseload independently
• Strong attention to detail and commercial awareness
• Client-focused approach with the ability to build and maintain relationships
