Housing Admin

  • Temporary (5 weeks)
  • Start date: Monday 13th April 2026
  • Location: Beeston fully onsite
  • Rate of pay: 18.76 PAYE or 24.66 Umbrella per hour

We are seeking a temporary Housing Admin to cover paternity leave in Beeston. This role is crucial for maintaining compliance with statutory requirements within the Mechanical and Electrical team. You will be instrumental in liaising with residents, contractors, and other stakeholders to support excellent customer service.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Work closely with the Contract Manager and other Contract Officers, following directions as needed.
  • Update spreadsheets and record job sheets to keep track of ongoing activities.
  • Communicate effectively with residents through letters, text messages, and emails to keep them informed about our services.
  • Handle incoming calls and field queries related to mechanical and electrical works.
  • Assist in investigating works and resolving complaints related to these works.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong admin and customer service experience ideally within housing or local authority based environments
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Organised and able to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines in a high-pressure customer service environment.
  • Experience in handling information and data, using it to diagnose problems, draw logical conclusions, and suggest clear, practical solutions.
