We are currently recruiting for a Document & Archive Coordinator to support a well-established organisation based in Bromley-by-Bow. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone who enjoys a mix of warehouse coordination, client deliveries/collections, and independent working.

The Role

You will ensure the safe receipt, storage, retrieval, and delivery of customer assets, maintaining a professional service and high operational standards. A key part of this role involves regular driving duties, making it perfect for someone who enjoys being out on the road.

Van-Driving Responsibilities (Enhanced Section)

As part of your day-to-day duties, you will be responsible for:

• Driving a 3.5-tonne van to deliver and collect sensitive client materials across London and surrounding areas.
• Planning routes effectively to ensure timely, efficient deliveries.
• Handling, loading, and unloading items safely to prevent damage.
• Carrying out basic vehicle checks before each journey to ensure safety and compliance.
• Interacting professionally with clients during deliveries, providing excellent customer service.
• Completing delivery/collection tasks using handheld PDT devices to log and track items.
• Occasionally supporting multi-drop routes depending on business needs.

This role is well-suited to someone who enjoys working independently and takes pride in maintaining high driving and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Receiving customer assets into secure storage.
• Delivering and collecting items from client sites using handheld PDT devices.
• Preparing and retrieving orders accurately and efficiently.
• Providing strong customer service throughout all interactions.
• Operating a computer-based logging and tracking system.
• Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy working environment.
• Adhering to health, safety, environmental, and security guidelines.
• Participating in warehouse duties every 6-8 weeks.

What We're Looking For

• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong IT literacy.
• Competent and confident driving 3.5-tonne vehicles.
• Ability to work independently for extended periods.
• Flexible and adaptable to varied duties and shifting schedules.
• Highly self-motivated.
• Clean UK driving licence.
