Job Description


Pure are delighted to be partnering with the University of Cambridge to recruit multiple Senior Accounts Assistants roles while they undergo a multi-year finance transformation project. These roles will be fixed term until 31st December 2027 and will be based within the Finance Division Staff Bureau at Greenwich House, in Cambridge.

The purpose of the role will be to co-ordinate Finance administration services, to contribute to the management of Departmental/Unit finances.

Duties of the role will also involve:
  • Reconciliations
  • Reporting activities and preparation
  • Invoice processing and payments
  • Payroll duties
  • Advising budget holders and Heads of Departments
  • Contributing to the review of processes and procedures
  • General accounts administration
The ideal candidate will have experience within a relevant accounts role, knowledge of reporting tools, and strong skills within verbal and written communication. You will also be well versed in your excel and system knowledge.
