Job Description

Role: Front of House Receptionist Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 Location: Leeds City Centre, West Yorkshire Contract: Full time, permanent An opportunity has arisen for a Reception & Front of House Assistant to join a professional office environment, delivering a welcoming, efficient, and high-quality reception and hospitality service. Acting as a key point of contact for visitors and clients, this role is central to creating a positive first impression and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the workplace. This position comes at an exciting time, as the organisation continues to expand its office space to enhance both client and employee experience. The updated environment includes dedicated client areas, as well as shared spaces designed to support collaboration, wellbeing, and events. The successful candidate will play an important role in ensuring these areas are presented to a consistently high standard and that visitors receive a seamless experience. Working as part of a supportive office services team, the role involves close collaboration with colleagues across the organisation to maintain a professional and efficient service.

Key ResponsibilitiesTypical duties will include:

  • Welcoming visitors in a professional and friendly manner, escorting them to meeting rooms or waiting areas, and offering refreshments as needed
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings, including scheduling, room preparation, arranging refreshments, and ensuring all equipment is set up and operational
  • Providing general administrative support to assist with the day-to-day running of the office
  • Assisting with incoming calls when required
  • Maintaining a tidy, organised, and professional front of house environment
  • Supporting internal projects and contributing to a positive workplace experience
  • Assisting in delivering a high-quality visitor experience across client-facing areas

Working HoursThis is a full-time, office-based role (Monday to Friday, 35 hours per week). Working hours are scheduled between 8:00am and 5:30pm on a rota basis. Some flexibility may be required to support events or occasional out-of-hours needs.

Candidate ProfileThe role requires strong relationship-building skills and a commitment to delivering excellent service. Previous experience in a similar role within a professional environment is beneficial, though not essential. Key attributes include:
