The role
As a Sales Support Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring customers receive a professional, reliable and positive experience. You will support the sales team, manage online orders and handle customer enquiries across phone and email.
Day to day responsibilities include:
• Processing online orders and keeping customers updated on stock availability• Providing product alternatives when needed and ensuring orders are accurately recorded• Taking inbound calls, placing orders and negotiating competitive pricing• Maintaining accurate and up to date customer records• Registering sales opportunities on bid portals• Flagging website pricing or product inconsistencies to support continuous improvements• Supporting the sales team to deliver strong results and smooth daily operations
What we're looking for
• Experience in a sales support or administrative role
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)• Confident phone manner and excellent written communication skills• Good attention to detail and an organised approach to managing tasks• Ability to work collaboratively in a busy team environment• CRM experience• Proactive, positive and customer focused
