Lecturer in Arboriculture - Based in Preston

Full-time or part-time hours will be considered.

£30+ per hour

Reed FE is recruiting for a Lecturer in Practical Arboriculture to join a leading FE College. If you can demonstrate strong industry knowledge and the ability to deliver high-quality practical teaching, we want to hear from you.

About the Role

In this role, you will deliver a range of Arboriculture-related subjects to learners on Further Education programmes. Teaching will be predominantly practical, with opportunities to bring theoretical knowledge to life through hands-on demonstrations, industry-standard techniques, and skills-based sessions.

Key aspects include:

  • Delivering practical arboriculture training outdoors and in workshop environments
  • Demonstrating safe, current industry practices
  • Supporting learners to achieve their full potential through engaging teaching and assessment
  • Strengthening relationships with employers, industry partners, and wider stakeholders

What We're Looking For

  • Strong practical experience within the Arboriculture industry
  • Confidence delivering practical training to a range of learners
  • A commitment to providing inspirational teaching and learning
  • Willingness to undertake CPD and contribute to programme development
  • Teaching qualifications are desirable but not essential - industry experience and enthusiasm are highly valued

All candidates who register with Reed Further Education will have 2 years' referencing taken up and will be required to have a DBS check completed. All offers are conditional upon satisfactory background checks.
