  • Verifying equipment and software against project requirements and performance criteria.
  • Visiting customer sites when required to support project roll-outs and technical activity.
  • Defining IP structures and providing technical guidance for system implementations.
  • Supporting customer meetings, future system enhancements, and solution planning.
  • Participating in the MoD/Government duty engineering rota, offering technical support when needed.

What we're looking for

  • Eligibility to obtain, or already hold, UK Security Clearance (SC or DV depending on project needs).

A relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience is preferred, but strong practical experience in MoD/Government or secure systems engineering is equally valued.

Why this role stands out

  • You'll work on high-priority, technically complex government programmes that genuinely make a difference.
  • Every day brings fresh challenges - from system design to field support and high-level technical problem solving.
  • You'll join a forward-thinking engineering environment with opportunities for long-term growth.
  • The work is diverse, meaningful and ideal for engineers who enjoy autonomy, responsibility and contributing to national capability.

What's on offer

  • A competitive salary package (market range typically £45,000 to £50,000, depending on experience).
  • Long-term progression opportunities within government and defence engineering pathways.
  • Exposure to cutting-edge communications, ICT and secure network technologies.
